Valentine Gauthier, one of our favourite French eco-chic designer (we already talked about her here and there… in French!), tells us a bit more about the philosophy behind her brand…

If angels needed to redesign their wings…they would just ask her, for sure!!

We got lucky enough to meet her again so she can tell us more about her approach, her style and her inspiration for the summer collection…

In this 1st part, she gives us insights on how she works with NGOs and small workshops in South America and India, helping them to develop their skills and have a better life… She explains how she believes that great style can go together with respecting human beings and our environment…

In Part 2, she describes her style: modern, uncluttered but structured, light and sometimes romantic… For this summer collection, she was inspired by Indians from America so she worked with strong prints, pearls, fringes… giving the pieces both an “hippie style” and a urban spirit… The result is just astonishing…. we just love it all!

So this is it, we wish you all a great summer!
